Today,three women from the black ferns came to visit our school. They talked about themselves and answered questions. Thank you Charmaine, Maia and Sylvia! we had so much fun.
- I really Liked how they were so confident to speak in front of a school.
- I really liked their reactions when they got into the Black Ferns. They explained to us how each of their reactions were and how they felt.
- I really liked when Charmaine told us that Sylvia got a contract from the Brisbane Broncos. Someone asked her what she would do if she wasn’t playing rugby and Sylvia said she’d play rugby league. That is when Charmaine told us about the Broncos contract – how cool!
On thing I will take away is when Maia said to us “have fun and play hard! ” I’ll remember that when I am playing sports!
